Is This Wine?

True story taken from this year during our traditional Family Christmas Party in my mother's side. We all took Strawberry Wine yet it tasted like those medicine syrups we had when we were small.

Because I was so curious, I drank 3 glass of it yet I didn't get drunk. Neither are my cousins and siblings too. We asked our older cousin if it has alcohol in it and yeah it has yet why does it taste different?

That's a big mystery for me.
